At any given time all AQIP institutions are required to have at least 3 active Action Projects. One most be intended to improve student learning.

Action Projects are intended to “strengthen an organization’s commitment to continuous improvement, educate and motivate faculty, staff, and administrators; and improve systems and processes that lead to success in achieving organization goals.” (Higher Learning Commission, “Introduction to AQIP” at p.8)
