North Shore Inline Skating Marathon

Physical Education courses are now available at LSC for students living at a distance or who otherwise want to take advantage of the new P.E. offerings through LSC Online.
NOTE: If you do NOT have an LSC student account, you can register for these courses using a special registration form. LSC students should register using the normal online registration portal.

Late start summer class: NOTE: special course dates of July 11 - September 22, 2006. Registration deadline is July 11, 2006.

PE 2999: Special Topics: Inline Skating Marathon - 1 credit. A virtual training course that covers the nutritional and conditioning information related to inline skating; plus required participation in a skating marathon or half marathon. (Summer Course registration ID# = 000188)

In addition to tuition and fees for one credit ($147.30 for summer school 2006), there is a special fee of $60 per course. When you register at LSC for the total cost of $207.30, you receive a guaranteed entry to the September 2006 NorthShore Inline Skating Marathon or Half-Marathon in Duluth. To maintain flexibility for distant learners, students may also complete the course requirements by training for and skating a comparable race at a different location (NOTE: the special fee is charged to all students, but a guaranteed, paid race entry is only available for the NorthShore Inline Marathon or Half Marathon).
