MINNESOTA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
EARN COLLEGE CREDIT FOR WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW!!
Legislation passed allows for College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam fees to be paid for by the state of MN for high school students!
October 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009.
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a series of examinations in 35 introductory college subjects that allow individuals to earn college credit for what they already know regardless of how that knowledge was acquired – through advanced course work, independent study, work experience, professional development, or extracurricular activities. Our college awards credit for successful scores on CLEP exams.
How and When Can I Take A CLEP Exam?
How: Visit the Center for Lifelong Learning Test Center in Room or call Cathy Bennett at 218-723-2393 to make an appointment and register for an exam.
When: Tests are administered by appointment.
Cost: Exam is FREE with only a $20 per exam Lake Superior College administration fee. The "Get Ready, Get Credit" legislation allows for the state of MN to pay $70 per exam for up to 6 exams.
