(This page provides an explanation of the policy and a direct link to the policy)

Explanation of the policy:

Students will be dropped from their classes if they have not paid their tuition and fees by the published deadline for the semester.  Please click here in order to determine when your tuition and fees must be paid:

Spring Semester 2007 Tuition Deadlines

Exemptions will be made for students who have met one of the following conditions:

  • The student's financial aid application (FAFSA) has been electronically received by LSC.
  • Students have signed up for the FACTS Payment Plan to pay their tuition costs.
  • Third party billing or proof of a scholarship to cover the amount is in place with the Student Payment Office.
  • PSEO form is submitted.
  • A consortium agreement from your Home institution has been received by LSC.

If you are planning on financial aid covering all of your tuition and fees, the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must have been electronically received by LSC prior to the deadline for drop for non-payment. Normally LSC receives the results within 5 business days of your electronic completion of the FAFSA.

Your student web services account gives you access to determine if your FAFSA results have been received by LSC. Make sure that you choose the appropriate term.  Go to Financial Aid Status for information on how to access this information.
