Advising Mission Statement
The mission of Professional Advising is to assist students in becoming accountable for the development of meaningful educational plans that are consistent with their academic, personal and professional goals. Professional Advisors work in collaboration with faculty and other campus resources to teach and support the student in pursuit of her/his goals.
Role of Professional Advisors:
Professional Advisors are available to assist students with academic planning, financial aid, petitions and appeals, academic probation, registration, and transferring college credits. Any student, whether in an occupational program or in pursuit of a liberal arts and sciences degree, may meet with a Professional Advisor.
