Choosing a Major or Program 

Deciding on a major for your bachelor's degree (i.e. "4 year degree") or what technical program to pursue at LSC can be an exciting time.  It also can be overwhelming and stressful process.  Don't worry, you are not alone if you experience some anxiety around this, you are not alone!  The advising staff is here to help you navigate the process.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook

Published by the Federal Government.  Includes extensive information about occupations incuding: training and education needed, what people in these careers "do", typical wages/salary, anticipated need and jobs available and working conditions.

An excellent resource created by the University of North Carolina - Wilmington Campus Career Center Office. This site is probably one of the best career/major resources out there.
