Non-degree Seeking Student

This is for students not planning to pursue a degree, diploma, or certificate. (Federal financial aid is not applicable.) Students planning to pursue a degree, diploma, or certificate must complete the formal admissions process prior to registration. Non-degree-seeking students are not eligible to receive financial aid.

You will be dropped from your classes if you have not paid your tuition by the published deadline or met one of the following conditions:

You have established a payment plan with FACTS e-Cashier. Enroll in payment plan now. (opens in new window)
You have 3rd party billing authorization or a scholarship to cover costs
You are a PSEO student who has submitted the PSEO form.

Create a MnSCU Account

Are you new to MnSCU and want to apply as a non-degree seeking student?

Click on Create a MnSCU Account.
Read the Information Privacy Notice and the guidelines related to username and password.
Complete the simple form and click continue.

This MnSCU account lets you register for open public courses at any MnSCU College or University. After you register or apply, you will get an Lake Superior College account.

Username Instructions:

Must be a minimum of six (6) characters.
Must start with an alpha character (a-z) and contain at least one (1) numeric character (0-9).
Must not contain spaces.
Must be unique across the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system.

Password Instructions:

Must be a minimum of six (6) characters with a maximum of twenty (20) characters.
Must start with an alpha character (a-z) and contain at least one (1) numeric character (0-9).

Hint Question/Answer Instructions:

The Question/Answer will be used for verification if you should forget your Password.
Enter a unique question to which you will always know the answer. Example: Street I grew up on, Name of first pet, etc.
Enter the answer to the question entered. Keep the answer short and easy to remember.
