Understanding Your Degree Audit Report

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the sample degree audit and its contents.  The DARS report is designed to help you identify and understand your current academic requirements for degree or program completion.  The DARS report is a computer-based system that lists the college requirements for your program of study and it will help you to monitor your progress.

Your Lake Superior College course work listed within a requirement shows the term taken, department and number, credits earned, grade, and course title.  Transfer course work is designated with a “T” preceding the grade.  The Office of the Registrar determines which transfer work may apply toward liberal education requirements.  Any course exceptions or coursework transferred into the major will be updated into DARS by the Registrar’s office.

It is your responsibility to complete all requirements for the selected program, whether or not they have been identified on the LSC DARS report.  You are encouraged to review the college catalog and report any inaccuracies found on your LSC DARS report to the Student Services Center.
